This is how we crib corn in Minnesota. The wagon is a "power wagon" with pto driven two speed apron and works great for both cob corn or silage. Click on the link below to bring up the photos.

nice setup we had guys around here that put high sides on and baled hay with them they have become real popular with guys doing roofing and brush cleaning have seen newer boxes built that way for trench set ups they used hydralic motors instead of the pto shaft

Do you reverse the apron and run the corn out the back? Also how do you keep the corn from getting on the conveyor so it doesn't spit out the side? If a guy didn't have any gravity flows and could find some old silage wagons cheap this would be a good way to go.

These wagons are designed to only run whatever is in the wagon out the back. It does not have side discharge chute. They are grain tight and can be used for any grain, the only problem is that it would be a bugger to get the stuff out without a hoist.
