Hey 1206 you where in the right area to find old combines. I passed threw that area about a month ago and i must of seen about a half a dozen 55's. If you run RT 36 west from Norton to Atwood you will find a massey harris sp cornpicker sitting close to the road. A JD#9 combine sitting in someones pasture and if you look closely enough someone has a Bladwin gleaner in a fence row. That part of Kansas and western nebraska a good hunting grounds for old combines.

Hey Blaine, I sent you an email, but don't know if it went through. So here's my email, caribou880 at charter dot net; if the other message didn't work.

Hope to hear from you, I'd be interested in one of those 55's; more than likely the bottom one.

Thanks, Brad

Hi Brad, I just checked and your email went thru.I'm getting ready to go to work in a few minutes so will email you the info late tonite or in the morning.

I know where a 1953 JD 55 (rusty) is at for $100 north of Dodge City.KS.I may swing by it and rob all the parts I can.It has a new feeder chain. This guy also has a SB 105 JD with 18 ft head for $300 and it runs.I was within 20 miles of him last weekend but had no extra time.
