Howard emailed me some old Cat combine pictures.He was wanting to know the weight of it and if it would fit on a 24 ft trailer with the header removed.

I'm guessing 8-10,000 lbs total and I think it will go on a 24 ft trailer.

Thanx for the Pix ,,Wonder what year the Cat was built ?Rubber tires has to be a retrofit ,. Probably wrong ,But , i believe this machine dates back before the 1930s.However it does have a unloading auger rather than a slide chute .And it appears to be practically all steel ,,No wood .. Hummm Thanx jim

Dad has the original owners manual and parts book.. not for sale. We had one one the farm back in '36 The only thing it shows in the book is auger unload or bagging platform. The books we have show only steel wheels-must be farmer upgrade tires!
