Still waiting on the catalog from Kruse. I'm hoping it will show the days items are going to be auctioned. If they don't I'm not going. Not going to waste a week of my time for the 2 or 3 items I'm interested in. If what I've seen so far is any indication on how Kruse does business then the scrappers are going to be the only ones there.

Not planning to and I'm doing my best to resist bidding online, like I don't have enough projects to work on now.

What is the model of that Minnie there? Never seen something like that. That looks like it would be fun to play with. How common are they? Any info on them?

Hmmm, that Minnie-Mo Uni-Sheller looks like it may have been in the field more recently than the combines. I see there's a M-M Uni-Huskor too. Surely somebody will want those. You think the auction company of choice may keep some of the scrappers away?

50% of the stuff at this place is destined for the scrappers, so no way they are being kept away.

What I meant was, that Kruse has such a reputation (some say they charge you for the privelege of breathing the air at their sales) that the typical (for my area) tightwad scrap monger wouldn"t go. Maybe your scrap mongers are higher class? or just more desperate?

I would believe business is business; if the scrapper can make a buck he will be there. I would also believe someone that bought a bunch of scrapped out combines and tractors is not going to have them removed in 24 hours and is going to come back a week later, load them himself and not pay a loading fee.
