I just got back from Wisconsin and i found a great job in Richland center on an 1100 acre farm with 110 milk cows in a tie stall barn. And the first day i met a great farm girl! Phillips i talked to the man that you told me about and all he wanted me to do was be a feed man so it wouldnt really work out for me but is a very nice man. I just wanted to say thanks alot for your alls help.

TDS, I almost did exactly the same thing once, I hauled four champion Brown Swiss cows up to somewhere around Belleville about halfway between Ricland center and Beloit in a 2 and 1/2 ton 58 dodge stock truck with the cow dealer. I was 17 years old we drove in the driveway dropped over the hill and man what a site? Looked like a picture out of a magazine including a glass sided inline 6 Surge milking parlor, I fell in love with the place. I was 17 years old and had one more year of high school left and the herdsman offered me to come back after graduation and become his assistant. The following spring a tornado came through and leveled the place and the absentee owner lived in Chicago decided to not rebuild it at least that was the story I got. It was just as well anyway I love every part of the dairy business except the milking part, I'm the chore guy. CT

Richland Center is beautiful.

If I weren't so heavily dug in to living in the northern part of Wisconsin, that area would be my instant choice.

Good fortune to you.
