Recently went to an auction to try and buy a tractor in Happy,Tx and on the ride down was looking atall the old homesteads around there and noticed all sorts of combines sitting at nearly everyone of'em.They ranged from pull type IH and Mccormick Deering to 600 Case.If a person was looking for old combines a trip thru there might be worthwhile.

Yea farmer was woundering if you got that machine. I guess it went to the junk pile? I drive a truck for a chemical company and deliver to the oilfield. Been keeping real busy as the oil patch is BOOMING. We are living at Midland ,Texas right now and coming home to Sunray every other weekend. My job is for sale as the new owners don't want the transportation end of this business. I will stay till the end and move on.

Doug, David Manring from Sunray,TX used to post on here and he always said that the Texas Panhandle area was just full of old combines.Sometimes he would put pictures on here.I think David moved to New Mexico?

Grab us some pictures if you get a chance.Thanks.

No my PC was down and i haven't kept up on the board.
Did he get home with the SP Case? I came on to a Vac Case power unit that i will hook up to a 1937 Linclon generator i have. It came off a Case Swather that had been junked.
