neat pictures of what must be a very rare machine, im guessing but that axle may be right it doesnt look home made the brake drums could be just a simple way to mount the wheels to the spindles, was the G tractor there too? [ the sign visible in one of the pics] that and the combine togeather at a show would be something

Here are a couple more my pictures that I took at John Mrotek's to go with the two of mine that Blaine posted. He also has a bagger 40 in his collection as well. For more pics of his entire AC collection, see the link to my Photobucket album. Mike

Blaine,

Not going to the sale, would be a very interesting one to be at. I was out in the VA area (around Dulles AP) for two weeks last March. During my trip I had a chance to visit Fred Lucabaugh, his uncle Bill and Fred Wilke one evening and John Mrotek on a Sunday. What a chance to see some wonderful AC collections and all great people. Mike

Blaine, that brings up a good point is this the smallest SP combine made? I'm guessing due to the number it is a 40" cut. I'm thinking AC and IHC made a 36" pull type.

Is this, the only one left in existence? I saw an AC-40pt sell at Kings sale for $500 last fall. It wasn't in that good of condition. This is really a classic find. thanks for the pic 1206swmo

Blaine - I took those pictures you posted when I visited John Mrotek last March. He is such a nice guy and has a wonderful Allis collection. With it in a building, it was hard to take good pictures. Mike

That rear axle can't be right can it? Why would it have brake drums?

I read about these in Farm Collector magazine a year or two ago and couldn't believe what I was reading. What a fascinating piece of machinery, and so beautiful. Hope it goes to a museum. Once again thanks 1206 for your bloodhounding finding these pics.

Some amish out to check that out and start making them again with a few up grades. would be a perfect combine for small farms in the future.Especially in third world countries who will raise all the food in the future after we put all our land into houses, malls and other playgrounds.

Agreed , I like the rear tow hitch . Great for a small operation, But mounting a tractor chassis in such a manner . Thats the Durndest thing I ever seen! Blaine did you say there are only 5 built ?.Do you think it will have enough power for the Job.?Looks like they put a grasshopper motor on there for running everthing ,My dad liked to call the G grasshopper. I reckon the India tractor mount machine is legit then ?? anyone ever seen a real one ?
