I have a JD #42 inherited from my grandfather. It hasn't run in probably 30 years, but it looks like it is in decent shape. Is it worth trying to sell it as an antique or should I just send it to the scrap yard and get whatever there?

Neighbor had one with both heads and i regret not buying it now. Was also outbid at the sale. He pulled it with a d 17 allis.i heard and from what i could see for myself is they had a problem with the grain feeding in heavier from one side tho and the worn cylinder bars proved it. Probably wasnt such a problem in corn with the 2 row head but with the 9' bean head i imagine it was.

My uncle had one. He had a corn head for it and pulled it with a 706
