I've been thinking and I was wondering if anyone would be interested in purchasing all new wood to redo their old binder. I have 5 JD binders and have patterns and I want to make a few sets this summer to maybe get one of them redone.

Would anyone be interested in something like this?

Another question is what would be the best type of wood to use be?

I have enough NOS ones that I don't need to make those but I need to get off my butt and made the slats and stuff like that.

Thanks for the reply.

I hadn't had to make any rollers yet, but we use apatong on the reel bats and slats. We use it at work on semi trailer floors, and it's pretty expensive. Yellow pine works on the slats, we have planed down flooring boards before.
