The 914 pictured is low profile. I think the 914's changed the same time the 915's did.

That is a beautiful picture. But I think that might be an 886 hooked up to it.I could be wrong, eyes aren't what they used to be.

Just wondering, Were the 914 combines hi or low profile?

My brother had one of those. He said that it was a much nicer combine after he increased the fan speed to nearly double the original speed.

Cool picture. There were tons of IH 914's in the Dakota's and Canadian prairies. People liked them because they were simple and easy to work on. Quite a few 7701's and 7721's JD's also. Lots of people would put a rotary screen on their tractor for the dust.

The 914 had a spring loaded door on the rear hood which opened if the chopper should plug saving the walkers. One of the simplest, smartest
features on a combine I've ever seen.
