A little while back was lucky to find a Massey Self-Propelled ear picker. This machine has been shedded all its life.Im guessing not done to much work by the looks of thing either.Has not run for awhile, but has spark and turns over smooth.had put diesel-oil mix down cylinders &exhaust manifold to soak good awhile back, anxious now to get it cleaned out & try to start it.Has the 226 continental 6 cyl.in it.Only remember one in the area when i was real little.Maybe not to common here.Anyway just thought I`d share my "find"with others.

cool ! one of the things i always liked best about farming was running ear corn picker. i thought a self propelled picker would have been better if they had capacity to handle todays yeilds.

Sounds like a nice one.I know where both a 4 cyl and 6 cyl Massey SP pickers are sitting but they havent been shedded.

I have a want ad coming out for one in an area farm paper.Do you have a picture of yours for us?2-3 years ago a junkman got a always shedded SP picker about 30 miles west of me.
