Today I attended a farm sale near Moran,KS.On it was a very clean,low acre,always shedded 1972 model 615 IH combine with 12 ft header and 2 row corn head.The corn head was barely used.The manuals and original sales lit was in the cab.

Lots in the crowd didnt think it would bring $1000 but I had a hunch it was going to sell much higher.The auctioneer started it at $2500 and got a bid.It quickly went to $3000 and thats what it sold for.

In some areas this combine wouldnt have sold for $1000.

If it was washed has a 733 corn head on it. I had to let the header set out as I had no where to store it. I would take a lot less than 3000.00 for it. Like a $1000 would be sweet. Tom

Sorry should have said southeast Kansas. 40 miles or so south of the one above. Five miles south of the metropolis of Galesburg. Tom

Yep , there is one just like that sitting in a shed about 4 miles from the house , been for sale for over a year for 1250.00 dollars ,and all anyone is interested in is the motor...no offers over 500.00 bucks . this one is a spike cylinder and no corn head , but looks a little cleaner than the one you pictured,and is low hours under a 1000 I belive he told ne 750..... If I only had a shed to hide it in... naaa I'd be sleepn' with it 'cause the wife would throw me out and change the lock on the door....Shawn
