Has anyone ever had this problem and found a interchangable shorter wheel ? Need to get the 300 in the Warm /Dry shop ,for winter repairs ,,,Cab is touching the floor joists , Letting air out of tires did help,, But we need to be able to jack up and pull differential axles , And repair forks in tranny ,Wheels are 8 lug , Perhaps manure spreader wheels could interchange,, Any Ideas ? Thanx jim

Re- drill the centres on some smaller wheels, all our new combines come to New Zealand on small slave wheels - so they can get them under the decks on the boat.

I dont know how big your shop is or the type of construction but one farm magazine featured a farmer who jacked up his shop and added several levels of concrete blocks to update it for larger equipment. If your like me with a limited budget and probably no desire to get to huge, there is the mennonite option like i like to call it. That is make a set of steel wheels like the other guy said and put rubber tread on them to have lower heighth. Also what kind of floor do you have? if it is dirt or gravel just dig a couple of ruts for the tires. The main trick is to not get the cart before the horse and spend more money to fix up the combine to save the repair bill at a dealership.Dont do like me and spend $500.oo to have the tools to do a $300.oo tractor repair. lol

thanx Guys , for All responses , retrofit wheels ,not likely available at a sensible cost ,Therefore We will make repairs for the Combine under the Un heated open Side of shop , ,Cost benefit analysis , does not make sense to modify building , Concrete floor however will allow us to slide under tires conveyor belt skids ,THIS MACHINE HAS PERKINS DIESEL WITH LOW HOURS . Such a shame Too ,All this headache was caused by a stubborn stuck clutch . At earlier post We Did not know the axle and tranny was cog locked and will only allow reverse rolling ,,,Should be able to manage TO safely move her out ..Thanx Jim
