Here is a 40 Oliver SP thats sat unused in the corner of this shed for 27 years. For being shedded the paint isnt that great. It was impossible to get a decent picture of it as the shed was full.It can be bought for $5-600.

The engine is still free.it has a cab and 12 ft header. The only bad thing is that the variable speed has been done away with and it has direct drive.

I also went to look at a SP-12 Case 25 miles from the Oliver. It turned out to be a 120 Case thats pretty far gone but would be good for parts.

So that's where you snuck off to saturday. LOL. We left the show at 2;30. That case thresher does a fine job. The boys need a congrats on the working displays. It was nice to see husking/shredding, shelling, and grinding all in one spot. Now that i know how far away you are, i definately would come to see a combine expo at a certain missourians place someday. Something to think about. :^D

Russ,Ft Scott did have a pretty good show this year with all the working displays. Thanks for bringing the 8-16 IH for people to see.I cant recall one ever being there,

I'd been meaning to go look at that 40 Oliver for about 6 months now and since I was halfway there decided to leave the show about 3 and go look at it.Also looked at a 120 Case SP too and took some pictures.

The show was pretty dead yesterday but I did take a bunch of pictures of the classic pull and put them on the pulling forum here.

We just may have a combine show sometime at my place a few years on down the road.

I'm many hours away, (Southern MN) but sure interested in a combine show. Don't wait too long. I've already been retired 5 yrs. If you plan a show and have posters available, I would help with distributing them in my area. Ron

My problems will be a lack of room for a show and no wheat to harvest as 2007 is my last year to farm. Also I've got lots of work to do on some of my combines to have them running.I've got to build another combine shed too.

I think that Winfield,KS is having a combine show in 2010 or 2011.I'll be taking my 91 IH combine to the Red Power Roundup at Columbia,MO in 2008.
