Kind of like Merlin in the king Aurthur book... they are just going to sleep for a long time, but will come back to help when the need arises. :)

Ande,

The museum is east and north of Wolford, the nearest town. 23 miles south of Rolla. I've been there. It's a great place. Ron

They're having a "fall festival" over there this weekend. If I'm not too lazy to go, I'm see if I can find some more combines to photograph.

Actually, Bob, what I had reference to, was not any other combines in the field or at a demonstration, but those still inside. You can clearly part of another's pickup front, just to the left of the Massey-Ferguson right there.

Bob, do they still have that tiny german "plot" combine at the Hawk muesum ? I saw it or one exactly like it at the Pioneer Village in Rugby a few years ago. I saw another like it at the threshing show in Braddock. I will post pictures of it in vintage photos.

I don't recall ever seeing it, but there's a LOT of stuff there for it to "hide" between!
