Pretty simple. It's a combine and not a horse, cow, sheep or pig. LOL!

Ed,hehe,it aint my shed! Thats the best part!If it were my shed it would be stocked full of my other junk!Old buddy is helping me out till I get her home ready. She will either go into the local museum,or a new storage building I will be building.

The picture looks slightly fuzzy or out of focus. Posted pictures from others are very sharp. What digital resolution did you use? I just bought my first digital camera earlier this summer and find it is rather hard to hold steady enough on some shots depending on the mode I'm using. When I use the mode that is for "beginners" then I get good pictures.

Ande, I gotta tell ya that machine is show ready I wouldn't touch a thing she's good to go I would guess may be the most original A6 in existence, absolutely magnificent. I don't know many things at 56 or 57 years old short of Jacklyn Smith that looked that good.

Ande, if you ever get time can you do me a favor and take a couple side shots one from each side and e-mail them to me? I have an old school classmate of mine that we bought our A6 off of his grandpa and he always talks about crying as a little boy when we took it out the driveway and said that was the biggest combine he'd ever seen and really missed it because he always played on it. He's kind of a special friend because we were in the equipment business together also. My e-mail should be open I'd appreciate it if you prefer not to I understand. Thanks CT

Cadet, give me a little time, but consider it done,I would like to pull it out for those.Anything for a combine friend.Hey Cadet, you say you were in the equipment business? Which line? I started with Case ended with John Deere.Case is still dear to my heart, guess because it was my father"s business

Allis Chalmers 78 thru 83 bad timing, grain embargo and drought loved every minute just wasn't in the cards. Tough issues were making payroll and accounts receivables. When were you in business during the big IH purchase or before? Interesting how events change peoples lives.

I started farming in 1980. Don't think I could have picked a worse year in the last part of that century.

Cadet I sure know those years, high interest rates too.Yes at the time we had 2 stores, and a auto parts store. The Case dealership went through the merging of IHC.We continued till 1998,then closed it and continued the other store, that was John Deere.

Ande, I don't know how Case was but AC got pretty brutal just before Deutz bought them out and their floor planning was reduced to 30 days vs 9 months when we started to 6 months then POW! That was on tractors combines were a little longer because it was seasonal. The kicker was the regional sales manager kept wanting to know why we weren't ordering more tractors we were looking at late planting due to too much rain and a harvest that had nice plants but no ears or pods due to drought there were days we could have locked the doors and no one would have known. If it weren't for shop work and side items making payroll we would have shutdown sooner. Oh well it's things like that make us stronger. Looks like you made the right choice JD appears to be the only family company that is commited to agriculture not a corporate operation that cares little about customer dedication and will shutdown any product that's not making a set profit. Again I'm rambeling.

Cadet,I sure understand all of what you said, one time we had a Branch Manager that thought we couldnt do things right,I told him if you sat on my side of the desk you would find out.Guess what he did,he got demoted for something and ended up running a company store. He called me one day all huffy about something,I told him that he was the one that put this into effect!! Pow,he couldnt understand how he could have done that.Anyway most of the company people I worked with were good,in fact we got like family, they were doing a job and like us trying to make a dime.
