We bought a used 800 Case combine from a farmer who bought it new; said that it didn't have much capacity. When we got it home, we started checking it over and found the engine (& combine) RPM's were way low. Ended up cutting a couple inches off of the governor rod to get the RPM's to factory specs. That was a good combine after it was properly adjusted. Bearings were a little light, but replacements were cheap and easy to change.

I wasnt able to talk to the owner as he wasnt home.His son had no idea if anything was for sale.There were several old combines there which I will put pictures of on here.

Nice looking Case; this is the first time I have seen a second ladder on the same side; looks factory built, handy for checking the engine. Thanks for all the pictures lately.

Heres another 1000 Case about 20 miles south of the other one.Theres 5-6 old combines on this farm.

I know of several Case combines out in Decatur County, KS, including a model K (I think).
I see an LA Case tractor in that last picture along with a U Minnie.
