I have a 1960 JD 40EB combine that I plan on restoring and I am wondering if anyone has or knows where to find info relating to production numbers of the model 40s by model years and variations (EB,rasp bar cylinder, round back, square back, etc). I would like to make up a display to go with the combine when I take it to shows. I am hoping to come up with old sales literature and technical info along with collector info such as the article in July '99 issue of the Green Magazine. I have had nothing but pure enjoyment ever since I brought the machine home. I look forward to showing and hopefully having some type of informational and unique display to go with it. Thanks for any and all help.
