A few months back there were some posts here about possibly trying to have a combine show (Expo type?) or something like that. Has anyone thought more about it or tried to investigate some preliminary plans on how or where it might be held? I just entered my 7th decade and I'd like to attend a combine show before my earthly life is over.

Carl, I have good friends in the general area. I've been to Jim's a few times and have known him for just over 20 or so years. It was yet another farmer just into Texas, who introduced us. Jim, himself, has NOTHING to do with computers, but you only need ask him who is really nuts about combines, and he will tell you much about me. LOL! I just hope the good stuff, haha!

No, I wasn"t referring to any specific show, just that some folks were talking on this site about organinzing a show. Maybe they didn"t know that there are already some shows being held.

Well, this will be a show coming up this summer, near the Oklahoma and Texas border. It features at least 6 or more vintage combines actually working in the field. Contact Jim at 580-283-3453 for exact details.

We need to keep the old combines and their spirit alive!
