I found this old 72 MH SP combine with corn head about 15 miles SE of me.No one was home to ask about buying it.

Dad bought a 1959 72 MH combine in late 1961 and used it until 1966.It had a 12 ft header and a 2 row #22 corn head.

I had a neighbor that used to hit the wheat harvest from OK through Neb. with an 82 and a 72, he always shelled our corn with the 72. One year I was running the auger wagon was about 1/2 a quarter from the field to the crib had the elevator in the crib fixed me a board to stop on, go over and pull the switch and starter on Super A then crank the spout over and go back put the pto in gear on the H. hauled 2 dumps at a time was so dark when we finished I would have to shut the tractor off to find Charley, I had no lights nor did he. I don't think he missed a corn stock. It messed up my Sat. night but we finished the field.

I have never seen a 72 guess they were just too small for out here. I have seen a gizzillion 92's though

We had a neighbor who went on the harvest run with two 82 Masseys. I remember seeing him run a two row corn head on one of them custom combining corn. It was the first time I had ever seen corn picked. Looked just like this one.
