Dear god , why is this happening -16 degrees.
I choose this year of the last 5 to live through the winter on my grandparents farmstead. Thought
it might be fun. I could be sitting down in TN.
in a new house and heated shop just diddling my life away. Oh why oh why??? I thought it might be fun????? What was i thinking. I now understand why my grandparents went to AZ for the winters.
Anyway god thanks for listening nice little joke you have going on. Or maybe a wake up call. Anyone else getting cabinfever??
Think i'll go bake some brownies.

Take care stay warm Farmer

Its been a pretty tough winter here too but it hasnt been below 0 yet.The temp has been staying 10-15 degrees below normal for about 4 weeks. We just cant seem to get rid of all the snow and ice.

Most everyone you talk to cant wait for warm weather.Last year on Feb 28th it was an unreal 80 degrees here.I dont believe it will make it this year.

I was just sitting here eating a bowl of chicken soup and saw on the noon news that on feb 8 1895 it was -22, coldest ever on this date. That made me think. My great great grandfather was milking cows by hand and doing all the rest of the chores on this farm on that date. The news is about over so I will go out across the barn lot and trace the foot steps he took over a century ago but I will get in a warm pickup and drive to town or go work on some project in the nice heated shop so, I figure I dont really have any reason to complain about the weather today. Be thankful for what you have. bill

My 600 formula III runs like a bear across the potato fields. If it will get above 40 then I might get excited about working on my combine. until then we can only wait. Spring will be here in March
