 Massey 21A combine? in reply to 430WLPG, 02-05-2007 19:13:32
I"m pretty sure that"s a Massey 21A combine in the background. The unloading auger and clean grain elevator are just like the 21A. It"s just incredible how much old machinery (translated iron and steel) is sitting abandoned on old farmsteads.

I think that's a "ZO" cotton stripper, most I've seen pix of were mounted on M5s or 4 Stars, making it a 60s machine. Just looked it up in Lloyd McCrays serial # book, made from '55 thru '61. Hope that helps. John

That could be the round bin. I took a lot of pictures in this yard, but none directly of the combines. There were two 12A's in there that we got.I good friend bought all the stuff in the yard a few years ago, and took what he wanted and left the rest. He said there are a couple of combines and possibly the cottonstripper. I'll have to check and see what's left

No that's it, the row units are kinda hidden.Oh you hook a trailer on the back and it blows the cotton into the trailer as you go through the field

Is this something you are interested in buying? If you aren't I would be interested in the unit. It looks like he has several Molines setting around. I can't tell for sure but I think there is an MM Wheat Lister setting in the background. I am always looking for MM implements.

These pictures are 6-7 years old. I'll have to see if it's still there, and then we can talk about it
