I just got off the phone after talking to a nice 79 yr old man in eastern Kansas. He lives about 60 miles from me.I had ran a want ad quite some time ago to buy a SP-9 or SP-12 Case and he just now called me.

Its all apart but he thinks its all there except for the drive wheels. The header is off,the engine is out of it,and the back end is off it.He will take junk price for it.

A neighbor of his has a 35 Oliver combine. When the weather gets better I have the following to look at in SE Kansas. They are the SP-12 Case,an always shedded 40 Oliver,a 35 Massey, and a Super 27 Massey.

We are having the worst winter in quite sometime.

Sounds like you have plenty of combines coming your way!
Yea the weather is , well, not usual here in Texas either.
Cold, little snow(lucky) not the normal temps.
I am probably going to go south to Hobbs New Mexico or Odessa Texas. They told us 2 weeks ago going to close our terminal. Least a little warmer down there!!!

David, I'm going to be all year hauling old combines home and I keep finding more.If you are moving you will have to try and get us all the old combine pictures that you can before you leave. It sounds like your area has plenty.

We spent the night at Hobbs,NM about 10 years ago.We were on the way back from the Grand Canyon and had just been thru Carlsbad Caverns. In 1962 some good neighbors of ours moved up here from the Portales,NM area.

I assume that there will be old combines down where you are going.I recently talked to a guy from New Mexico that has tons of old Massey's.

We are sure ready to see winter end here.
