I was told that a 615"s engine would fit into a 560 with a slight modification to the oil filters. Is this true? Also, what other combine engines would fit into the 560? Thanks for any comments.

For the engine. Find a 715, they are more common.

Dont worry, I ended the deal. I was looking at a stuck 560 and wanted a little more beef for a pulling tractor, but I cant afford the upgrade. So I WILL NOT strip down a 615 or 715. On another topic I believe my uncle used a 615 up until to years ago.

Almost everything nees to be swapped over, at least when using a 403/715 block. Been a while since I did that, but I believe everything needs to be stripped from each block, including the manifold. Valve cover, head, and basic block are all that will interchangs. I could be wrong as I have slept a few nights since then.

715 is the same block. I am not an expert but i am thinking its more than oil filter differences
