Blaine, I'm also very to see her go. my husband lost his 98 year old grandmother, almost 3 years ago. Like you, he also wanted to see just two more years. Yes, it is very comforting to know she also knew the Lord. My husband's grandmother was also a firm believer, too. Yes, I second everything everyone here has said about the Lord and his promises. I lost my own mother, too. Untimely, at only 47 and I, only 20, too.

Hi 1206,
Im with ya brother in your sorrow for your Mom,
My Grandma was 99 last year and she went last december,
so I feel for ya brother,
I miss my Grandma as she was the one that understood me the most,
and she was just like you and me up to the end,
My Grandad had alot of wisdom on alot of thing,s, I miss him alot too even though we lost him in 85 to a spot on his lung, That was his combine like the one im wanting to get, I ran onto a rumor that there was one not too far away from me,
I went to look for it, didnt find it , or didnt know where to look?
So Ill call the people that supposedly have it, and ask them if i can get it from them,
with the Lord,s help on this,
i can get it,
I FINNALLY GOT THAT 2745 BUG OUT OF MY SYSTEM,
I mean all the stuff I put on here to see if it,s was the one I wanted, Only to find out it wasnt the one for me,
and instead Im going for an 1155, much better tractor,
better looking too,
not sooo much Glass,
I may put twin pipes on it, or just a chrome straight pipe,
Let that V8 scream all it want,s
I had a ball driving this one down in russell area last year , and i was really saddened to find out that it was sold to a man from down south,
the older man that had it wanted 12000 for it, which is WAY TOO MUCH FOR A 77 1155,
sO iT SAT THERE FOR 6 MONTH,S, and then as I was gonna go and get it,
this guy from the south came and grabbed it for
9 grand,
I was, to be honest, pissed off royally,
I havent seen another like that one since,
So that,s my Massey foible,s in short order,
If you know of any 1155,s, Including an open version with no cab?
PLEASE GET AHOLD OF ME,and then I can get it if it,s in ok cond,
Again 1206, My condolence,s for your mom,
I know you loved her alot and it,s a shock to lose a person, especially your mom, or My dad, like I did close to 7 yrs ago to Cancer,
Lost my Mom in 94 to a misdiagnosed malady following a heart attack from stress worrying about my dad and bill,s being paid off,
so Brother Im with ya if you need me to talk, or anything ok?
Ill Be here if you want me ok,
Your Combine Friend,.
Kirk,

Hi kirk ,. And My Sympathy to 1206 on the passing of his Mom ,, May God have mercy on Her ,and All of us left to do His will on Earth .. My parents are still living ,Dad is 92 and Mom is 85 ,Dad is a Old WW II S.Pacific island hopper ,,and A Survivor , When I complain how rough things are ,,He likes to say Rough!!! ,, YouAINT see nothin YET boy,,! But yet he will not tell any stories , The few things I have heard is when ever He had just a little too much to drink and was talking with other Old ARMY neighbors ,, Anyway ,My parents taught Me to Do My Best with whatever God allowed Me , I feel sure You fellows are doing the SAME ,, There is a V-8 Massey in Our neighborhood , probbably1155 ,I know the Work history of the tractor, Bought new around 30 years ago By a Big time Hog -Man who went bust around 1980 because of 22 % ,The bank sold tractor to a gentleman Cattle farmer /friend ,who used it very little ,before senility put Him in a nursing Home ,Tractor Set and set in the barn ,Family had an auction ,tractor was not running at time of sale ,very low hours 1200 or so as I recollect , My neighbor ,who CAN FIX ANYTHING bought it cheap ,And got it running in a day , Fuel shut off was stuck , He does not need the tractor, But He is not trying to sell it Either,,I do think that if You talked with Him ,,Anyone Could get for a nice price , I would not mind owning it Myself, because I know this Lady has never had to Work Yet , but I feel those 8 cylinders would like more fuel than My 4020 , Let Me know if You are interested Wish all of YOU fellows the Best , Blessings Jim

Hi Jim
I just got you letter, and i was reading it,
It was relly cool
I like what your dad did in the war, really neat,
I know about his value,s too, they had to be that way to survive back then,
On that 1155 Massey,
Can you ask him if he,s interested in selling it,?
tell him that im a really avid Massey fan as you know from all my letter,s on these page,s,
I dont know what he:d want for it, but If he,s willing to let it go, Id be interested in it,
Kirk,

1206, I read the Tribute to your MOM. Wow!! That was a life well lived. I'm sure that this is a great loss for you and your family. But your loss is her gain!As she worships around the throne of God, there will be no leg braces, no halting steps,no painful memories of youth. Only the unmatchless eternal love of the Saviour!

"Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints"(Psalms 116:15)

1206, God considers the death of a Christian as a Precious thing. He sees it as a promotion and I beleive He considered your mothers passing as a VERY PRECIOUS MOMENT!
