David, Its not the greatest picture but heres my old 1967 model 1950 Oliver pulling at Carthage,MO in July 2006.The driver in the picture is a pulling friend from Billings,MO(Pulls a 830 Case Limited Pro) whom pulled it in the 13,200 lb stock class and got 3rd.I pulled it in the 14,000 lb stock class and got 2nd.

We crank the little 4-53 Detroit 3000 rpms and it has much larger than stock N70 injectors so is making 150+ HP.We run a 3 ft 4" straight pipe so that everyone can here it.LOL It will run 3rd gear at 13,200.

I've been a 2 cycle Detroit fan since I heard the first one as a young kid.An LA Case with a 3 or 4-71 Detroit would be nice to have.I have seen a few over the years.

Hey 1206, I use to have a Oliver 1900 with the same 4-53 Detroit. I loved the sound of that tractor, but I felt I needed a gas tractor instead for feeding round bales in the winter time(easier starting). So, I traded even up for a gas 1850 with a fresh overhaul and paint. It's been a good tractor for me , but I still miss the Detroit. I wish I could post a picture of it on here, but I can't get photobucket to work for me. Any of you fellows got email that I could send a picture to so I can get it posted? Talk at you later!

Scott
