Great pictures Dave.I really enjoyed them.Thanks.

I'm no good on pull types but that could be an early 69 MM.

The SP MM's are both S's as they have the straight up and down steering wheel. The one with no beater and only a feeder chain is throwing me for a loop.My 168 lit shows a beater ahead of the feeder chain. The gas tank on a 168 is mounted in the left frame.

Do those S MM's have tricycle rears or a wide rear axle?

Thats a 123 IH SP as it looks like its had a tricycle rear.

I believe that Russ nailed the IH PT.

The beater has probably just been removed. This farmer used a lot of MM and probably bought this machine just for parts somewhere along the way. Both S's have tricycle rear wheels.

Thanks for the info Dave.If you know of any I could possibly use a tricycle rear end with spoke wheels for a model S MM combine.I think that the S MM I'm looking at in eastern Kansas originally had a tricycle rear with spoke wheels as it has spoke front wheels.

On that S MM with no beater it almost looks like the feeder chain is too close to the platform auger to allow room for a beater.

Okay either mm 69 or 88, i think the sp mm"s are both s, ih 123 and no clue on the pull type. Are these the MM combines you were telling me about when I got the 27.

Yep, those are the ones. There are a couple more pull types that have pretty well been dismantled for parts along the way.

Maybe I am wrong, but the SP MM combine with the beater on the head is an SP-168 and the other is a straight "S". I'm pretty sure that the 168's had the beater on the head. Don't know if the S did or not.
