My Dad bought a used one for $500 from Clovis Haulbine in 1954 7 ft cut. I remember them using the Thrasher only two or three times for Ochard Grass after that. The radio didn't work in the old Chev. 3/4 ton flat bed so I had a very boring job wating for him to fill the bin. I could sleep because when he waved I had better be ready to roll.

Jim,thanks for the offer but youd probably better save the K series IH parts book for someone that owns a K series truck. The neighbor lady has an old K series IH grain truck but she gave it to her grandson.I asked about it.

For info on my Mom see David Manrings recent topic on the weather.Shes not doing well. Thanks for asking.I'm glad you have enjoyed the pictures.

Gee, just the logo on the truck as well as the storage tank, are familiar icons of my home town.
