Sorry for the poor picture but it was raining hard.Heres a real nice big old pull type MM combine.I'd love to have it but how would you move it?I think the tires were still up but they are so wide apart so hauling it would be tough. Its in the pasture where I got my 123 IH.

I'll bet Russ Hamm could find a way to move it.Right Russ?

I'm assuming this is the big one in the background on the pix of your IHC 123 right?

You are correct as its the one in the background. This combine makes my mouth water. It would sure look good at my farm in MO but getting it there!! I wish gas was still 50 cents a gallon.LOL

Here's a brainstorming idea (or maybe a hairbrained idea) How about doing it sort of like they do with the tractor rides? Have a coordinated combine pull where each farmer would pull it across his land, then transfer to the next guy's tractor and keep that up till it got to your MO place. Just think you wouldn't have to worry about how wide it was for a given road, etc.

No big hurry. If you decide to sell that G-1000 I know of a few people that are interested in one.

Just load it on a trailer and haul it home. LOL According to the factory manuals there is a way to fold the header up over the outside wheel. Looking at the manual and one of mine I still can"t figure out how to fold it up and over. If you don"t get it I may be interest in it.

71ford,you may be almost as close to the G-4 MM as I am.When I get back out there in March or April I'm going to check things out alot closer, will take more pictures, and get some prices.Too many want me to price their stuff and then get mad when I dont offer much.

I may have to sell off my 6030 JD,G-1000 Vista Wheatland MM,
(1) 1206 Farmall, and my (3) T-Type Buick Regals (Same As Grand National) to finance all these old combines and the tremendous expense of hauling them home and building storage.

That"s a G4. We had one nearly like it on our ND farm in the early 1960s, the only difference was we had a windrow pickup.
