I bought a 611 Ford SP from the owner of this nice 55 JD.This ones ready to battle muddy conditions with duals front and back.

The 55 JD replaced the 611 Ford some 6-7 years ago.Theres a parts 55 in the back ground.This is in the Clyde,KS area.

If several of these are almost ready to go the field, why are they more or less abandoned? Is it just because bigger machines were needed? Sure is fun to look at your photos. Thanks a bunch.

I guess that I should have explained that this is a working 55 JD combine that is used every year on a small farm in NC Kansas.Before it he used a 611 Ford.
