Fooled You.I bet you all thought it would be a new Dodge Dually Crew Cab Diesel.I cant really afford that as I'm buying a farm from my Mother.

Its an old 1974 Chevy C-30 Camper Special Dually with a 454 and a Turbo 400.Its 10,000 lb GVW.Its not totally rusted away like most 70's Chevs but the passenger side floorboard needs patched.

The old 454 is a little tired so may have a friend go thru it.Shes set up to pull either a bumper hitch or a gooseneck trailer.

I was pushing my old 67 Ford Ranger to the limit but it never let me down. The old 352 goes 2500 miles on oil changes with no oil being added.

Boy I thought i had a fossil!!! No pic but 1979 GMC 1 ton with a welding bed, gin poles and 8,000 electric winch. Runs on gasoline or propane.
Took it to the Chickasha okla swap meet in october, pulling a 1955 GMC 1 ton on a trailer 70 mph no trouble( once I got it rolling) 350 with a 4speed

David, back in 1979 I bought a brand new Chev K-30 4WD with a 350 and a 4 speed. Most of the miles I put on it were hauling old tractors or hauling pulling tractors.I farmed 800 acres but it was all within 3 miles of home so farming didnt put alot of miles on it.

I pulled either a 18 ft bumper hitch or a 24 ft gooseneck.Like you said once you got it rolling you were OK.

Darn you mean some one else owns one of these still? Here is my 1973 Chevy 1 Ton 4X4 with a 454 CID with 400 Turbo with a little Newer 1977 Cab. A few Mods to the engine like a Comp Cam 206 H Hydraulic, Cloyers Adjustible Timing Gears, Compitision Q-Jet Carb (9 MPG) totaly rebuilt with 4.10 Gears. Truck has been totaly gone thru and drives like a new one. Pulls just fine but hard on fuel for sure!! Love driving this truck but also have a little one for going to town in most of the time. Nice looking truck Willy. Thanks for the picture.

I'm kind of partial to the older Chevs as I once owned a used 67 Chev C-10,a new 76 Chev K-20,and a new 79 Chev K-30.

My dad had a '67 1/2 ton for a while. Maroon with a white top, 250ci 6cyl with a 4 speed. It was a sweet little truck. Even without power steering it handled nice. That little 6 was surprisingly peppy.

I got this one to replace a 2001 Dodge 4X4 that just bit the bullet and lost it transmission with around 100K on it. I decided to go back to Chevy for my truck. I have owned many Chevys in the past. Not a bad truck for being 36 years old. I want to see how these new ones hold up in 36 years! Mark H.

At least I can work on this one still. Only a PCV Valve and electronic HID Ignition. The DANA 60 Front Axle and 205 Transfer Case helps keep it moving in the snow around here. Mark H.
