In about one day the only SP-12 Hillside in existance, that I know of, is headed for the scrap yard. Ebay Item number: 330060305450. If anyone would come and get it, I'd buy it for them, just to see it saved. Anyone got a piece of bare land near this part of California who's willing to store a combine?? I'm serious if you are. email me at fmi@online.com.kh

At one time about all my family including myself lived in california. But sad to say the ones left there are 80+ years old. If they would only hold off a while I bet someone could come to get it. It would have to be partially disassembled to get it out of calif and through Arizona( size laws). Those folks out there play no games!!!
New Mex and Texas would be no problem

Buy it and donate it to a museum out there? I wish I was closer

I would do that in a "hot second" if I could find a hauler. I'm in Cambodia. It's a bit of a walk.

Hey Camboted, did you get my email about the SP-12 Case on the estate in Texas?

I was afraid the SP-12 Hillside would have a lack of bidders or will sell just for the engine. You have made a generous offer.Must not be any combine collectors in CA?

Yup, I got it and I can't find my old emails relating to it. It's been a couple of years and I've had a computer crash or two. I have an old hard drive and if Í get a chance I'll look into it for you. It was not nearly as nice as this California combine. The reel was rotted, floorboards gone, grain tank rusted, tires rotted, etc. I'd be surprised if it is still there but I'm pretty sure it is the machine you are referring to.
