My friend Denis from South Africa emailed me a bunch of pictures today from their 2005 harvest day. Thanks Denis.

I'm not sure if this is a Case SP-9,SP-12,120 or a 150?All I know is that its one of the four and that its a bagger model which Denis said was popular over there. The owner sure did a great job of restoring it.

I'm betting its a SP 12. I have one to haul home of these days. Has to be one of the crudest self-propelled combines made which amazes me because they didn't come out until after JD, IH, and MF, had their machines on the market.

You are correct. Its an SP-12 Case.It is crude but that just makes it lots more collectible. There cant be that many left.

1206 is this a real farm operation or just a fun get togetherday in africa.

The bagger sits up above and fills and ties and the throws the bag overboard or????

Farmer,Its a for fun vintage harvest day that they have over there every year in early Dec.A young farmer over there collects old combines and has 15 of them. They must have it on or near his farm.

I had the link on here yesterday to their 2006 harvest day.If they can do it in South Africa we could surely do it here.

They slide the bags down a chute where they are picked off the ground. That had to be alot of hard-dirty work!

The bagger stands on the platform, fills the bag and ties it, and then slides it down the chute you can see on the left side of the machine.
