Roll Call-How Often Do You Visit Here?

I'm just trying to determine how many people visit here at least once per week just to see how much interest there is in combines.Even if you just lurk here and never post come on here and let us know.I have a feeling that this place gets far more hits than one would expect.

In the cold months I'm here every day and as you can see I post quite often.When it warms up I'm here 4-5 times a week but I'm usually too tired or busy to do alot posting.

I can honestly say that I've read every single post on here since 1999.

It varies but in the winter time I will check in every day or so. Summer and busy times I might barely see once a week but its an interesting forum and some great old combine pictures.

hardly ever, combines are to hard to move and get rid of. You can't even give the massey units away I find out. Still have two pulltypes need rid of,both always shedde and very good shape. One ih unit other is AC 70 pulltype

I look here at least a couple times a week now that winter is setting in. Farming is done, only livestock chores to do and if it ever snows, need to be out on the township roads for that. In the mean time, work on a few websites that I have done, update them, etc.

usually every day, sometimes more, sometimes skip a day or two. used to have to grease the neighbors combine[old pull type international] while he ate dinner[early fifties]. seemed like they had 500 zerks on them. had a power unit on it, then traded it for a model 74 I think. have owned a JD45, JD42, 4400, 105. Miss them too!!

I stop here a couple of times per week but this is about my first post here. I did recognize a Saskatchewan MH 90 you posted about a week ago. I looked at it before the sale. I have a S92, combine rough but a new motor, and a MF 72 PTO, looks like it just sat out to many years and the body is rusting out. Darald Sk&Az

Usually every week to 10 days I check the combine page. Usually I just lurk. 4-5 times a week I check the Tractor Talk and IH forum. I operate a trucking company for a living and am on the road a lot. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!

1660,sounds like a great idea for a combine photo gallery section.I have lots of old combine pictures and I'm taking more all the time.

At least once a day. I have a 67 95Lpgas and a 59 45 converted to Lpgas and Had a 92 MasseyHarris on Lpgas but sold it to a nieghbor. Been thinking of getting it back he don't use it anymore.

It varies from once a week to about every day. Grew up around John Deeres: 12A, 5A, 17, 65 and 55 SP. Also familiar with McCormick 122-C, 127 SP and MM G-4.

Hi, I try to check this one every day.Found Y-T site about a year ago,only started replies the last few weeks. Mostly because of 1206swmo pictures & love of old combines. Keep up the pictures , love to see them. There were very few combines around my area as a kid but was always intrested in them.Still want to find a 123 bagger combine to have on a small farm with a farmall h & other 1950's equipment.

I usually check the site at least 5 times a day. I just love old combines. I currently have three - JD 30 with 4 cyl. engine, 1966 JD 55 EB with a pickup head - used it on 30 acres this year, and a 1960 JD 45 HI/LO has been repainted, looks good, but it needs some work. I grew up on my uncle"s 1959 JD 45 with scourkleen and pickup. Sold it to a salvage yard in 1986 when we upgraded to a 1972 JD 4400 . The 45 should never have left, but at 20 years of age, all I wanted was a cab and A/C. By the time I went back to see if was still there, the salvage yard had been closed and all had been sent for scrap.

Hey 1206 I posted on here a month ago about the weight of an IH 715 I was trying to buy.Had no luck yet because the old gentleman has been sick all winter and in and out of the hospital.Thanks for your reply though.I check this sight every night when I get home from work.Thank you for the pictures and please keep them coming.I found an IH 403 and am trying to find the owner now.Maybe I can save it from the scrapyard or the derbies.

Hey 1206 I found this site while searching for combines about 3 months ago. Definitely the best site going. Learning a ton. Really enjoy the pictures of old combines. 47 years old and never heard of a cockshutt before. wow I probably hit this site 6 or so times a day in between working outside.

3-4 times a week. This is a really good forum. Never posted before. Usually on the pulling site! Really like all the pictures of the older combines. Biased to the green ones though. My dad and I farm about 300 acres with our 4400 jd. My dads only combine he has owned or ever drove. Owned since 1980. 1977 model. Same age as me. I work at John Deere dealer and have operated the newer ones, but there is nothing like getting home after work and running our combine. Finished harvest with her early morning on the 29 of november. Ran all night to get in before the rain hit the following evening.
