I've looked at this combine several times and cant make up my mind on it.Its sat in one place for at least 40 years.I dont think its had all that much use but the elements havent been kind to it..Notice that its sitting on the ground. Its a rusty mess.

Its 25 miles away and can be bought for scrap price. It would take alot of work and a chain saw to get it out of there. It has duals on the left side. When I first saw it in 1976 it had paint and you could read the Harvest Brigade decal on the grain bin.

I wonder if theres $150 worth of parts there? It would be quite a conversation piece and wouldnt need to be shedded.

I have to partially agree with everyone else, for a combine in that condition, it is quite a bit. But id have to say go for it, who knows how many more are left in the world.

Hey, also look at it this way, you can take all the wood you chain saw down around the combine. m sure hed let you keep it, and seel it as fire wood!

You sure have a heart for combines 1206. I am about the last person to say put one out to pasture but dang, sure hard to find anything good on that one. If it was on my place I"d leave it sit but haul it home from somewhere else? nope.

The tires, of course will be rotted. Too bad, since they have the old style tread.

If it were me I wouldn't take it for $150.

At 150 I say leave it. If you can get it for around 50 I would take it. Definately been there awhile. (Is this the place with the MM baler)

Yes,that where the MM baler is.

Here in MO they wont cut a guy any slack at all. They all want scrap price or more for everything. The first thing they tell you is that it ought to be worth $50-60 per ton or more.I've never had a thing offered for free.

I may shoot him $150 for both the combine and baler since they are only 25 miles away.

Those are the original drive tires (shot) on it and they are 90% tread. It couldnt have been used very much.

The price is a little steep for something like that, but it was an actuall combine on the harvest brigade, and is diar need of a good home, so would say take it, just my two cents.
