Didn't Massey use Chrysler engines? Those numbers you said sound GM. Or am I confused as usual?

Notice the hopper is missing on this Massey. Its amazing the uses farmers found for these old hoppers after the combine no longer was in service. Engines were also often used as donors for Dodge and Chrysler products that used the same flathead six.

The engine was a 251, which is an industrial/truck engine but bolts right up as a replacement for the 230 or the fairly scarce 216 that was in most cars and pickups.Jim
