is that your machine cutting the flowers? i saw that picture a while back and saved it! this was harvest of 05 how ever i regret to inform you all especially nutsaboutcombines that this noble machine has become an organ donor for our newly aquired 860 but that header is still in service to cut milo. my cousin and i do a little custom cutting around home, and due to mechanical problems with the machine, manpower shortage, cost of repair and other fiscal inadiquacies associated with agriculture these days we decided to retire the old gal.

Yes, it was my 760 in the 'flowers.

The photo is from the 80's.

Still have the header, but not the combine.

From the early 60's:

(Super 27, I believe, and, as you can see, it's a Massey, 'cause it's being worked on! Just kidding!)

Yes, that's me. I don't know the exact year.

I'll be 49 in a couple of weeks, so that puts the date in the early 60's.

If I didn't know better, I'd have said that was me in the picture. We had a Super 26 and I was always around when Dad had to work on it. I still have the platform and the engine down at the farm in NW Kansas and I know where some of the rest of it sits.

Aww. So you are only a couple of years older than me, too. Too bad you're all grown up. If I could find another little boy [up for grabs] as cute as you were, I'd snatch him up and be calling an adoption attorney. LOL!
