Thanks for the pictures. That sure is a nice 55! Lots of memories with them, like Paul, the 55 was the first combine I ever drove. Owned a couple as a teenager, too. All told, about 22-23 years using them for wheat, soybeans, milo, and oats. Take good care of 'er! Ben

Thanks for all of the positive comments. Just got done putting a new cylinder chain on along with the wheat sprocket, now she's ready to go next summer.

Brett,it is amazing just how clear you got those windows. In the second picture, it literally looks like there is no front windshield..

Yep, thats the one, The guys I got it from really took care of it. The parts combine I got from them looks just as good, it was shedded too. I didn't have any crops this year and didn't get a chance to help the neighbors on acount of school and a job. As soon as I graduate from vo-tech (Electricity) this May, I've got some ground I'm going to rent, to start farming part time. I'm definitly going to cut some wheat with it next summer, can't wait. I cut some beans this year for my boss in his JD 9600 and 9650, just a little bit bigger ;-)
