I'm hunting for a parts MM model "S" SP combine built in the early 1950's.I will need a rear axle for one that I'll probably be buying very soon from a junk yard to save it from being scrapped.

Anyone know of any complete or restored model "S" MM SP combines still around yet? I'd love to see a picture of one. There cant be very many in existence.

Hey Farmerboy,

I would be interested in those old Uni"s if you could get a number or address

I think I have seen a couple somewhere here in Northcentral Montana; I'll keep my eyes open when I'm out in the country. I know where one was parted out and the axle might still be there.

Thanks Tom.If you run across a Parts S MM combine let me know.

I'm also hunting a 123 IH,428 Cockshutt, and 21-A Massey SP combines.Hopefully I will find them all in Kansas so the hauling wont kill me.

Are these the "first unis"? If you ever get up by Ogalalla Nebraska, I saw half dozen in the weeds when I was on the havest crew in 2000. Guy we cut for had two in the weeds - one with a corn sheller and one with an ear picker. If you're seriously interested, I could try to get ahold of my old boss and get a number.

The model "S" was MM's first SP combine and could only harvest small grain.

MM Uniharvestors are much easier to find and I know of at least 4 on one farm down my way. Thanks for the offer of help.I'll bet you saw lots of old combines on the harvest run.Did ever you run across any 123 IH or 21-A Massey SP's?
