For me its a Massey Harris 90 Special combine thats been in the same family since it was new.Its been used on a smaller farm and has probably never sat out a night in its life.Today we drove by the shed where it sits and it still looks like new yet.

This guy also has a 1206 Farmall that was bought new and it has low hours. This is one farm sale I'll sure be at when the day comes.

What old combine are you waiting on for a chance to buy?

Case Model A pull type w/ Wisconsin engine. I have a picture of ours with both of my brothers and my dad, all are gone now it's a sentimental thing you know?

I don't know of a certain individual, but somewhere out there are a MF 300 and a MF/MH 35sp with my name on them! First combine on our farm was a 300, so I have a soft spot there, and the little 35 is just sooooo cute!!

yea so cute. try one in heavy corn with a little mud plus a few vines and fox tail thrown in... Time to get a real combine and not one so cute!!!

They are faster than a man picking by hand and dragging a gunny sack but not by much...

PS they did a little and still drank the fuel.

I just bought a 1962 Case 700 Rice special that looks new. The old rice machines are rare. Anything in the south just melts anyway, but the rice machines had a hard life.

This machine has been shedded and has not seen a rice field since the early 70's? she starts right up and runs, good rubber and I plan on driving her home soon...

22x38 Dion Thrashing machine. One owner. Towed 150 feet from drive shed to barn, thrashed, cleaned up, 150 feet back to drive shed. 1947 to 1965. Been there ever since. Ready to go to work.

Massey-Harris 70 Special. Dad had the first self-propelled combine in our county. He bought it new in 1952. Did a lot of custom combining. I've still got an old black and white snapshot of me sitting on the operator's seat (in the barn) when i was about 4 years old. I remember later on I would sit on the tool box behind Dad while he was combining, eating all the dust and loving every minute of it. Only bad memory was one time I was playing on it in the barn after wheat harvest and I managed to run the battery down after I found the toggle switch to raise and lower the header. Think I got a spanking when he found the header on the ground, and the battery dead. Jim.

Go for it, Jim! That model is the rarest of the regular M-H SPC's! Only 1,449 of the little 70's were made and in 1953 only. The Model 60 which matched the Model 26 for cylinder size, replaced the smaller Model 70, and ran concurrent with the 80 and 90 for the duration of their production run.

A MF 300, it's in the barn at the farm where I get my milk, says he will let me have it for 700 bucks , now all I need to do is convince the wife...
