Anyone in the Denison - Bonham Texas area or close? I am looking for a used pull type Peanut Combine, does not need to be usable, just good enough for a show peice. I saw several sell in this area years ago, didn't know if there are any still around.

Roger, how about Sadler, which is close to Sherman? I have some friends there who have some peanut machines. Please e-mail me for more info.

Over a decade ago I dealt with a company in Howard, SD, that rebuilt augers on grain heads. They replaced the center section with heavier tube, would do an exchange, or you could send yours there and they would rebuild in a day or two. They had heavier centers than what came from the factory. They were still in business recently, but I can't rmember the company name now. Another company in Blooming Prairie, MN. did the same thing, but at a slightly higher price. Do a google search for newspaper, police dept., COC in those towns to find the companies. Google for state newspaper association to find the newspaper in those towns- call them to find out abuot local businesses. One or two telephone calls should get results. You did not indicate your location- so the companies may be too far away for you to deal with- but you might find similar shops close to you if you do some phone searches.
