Does anyone have the lyrics Sweet Allis chalmers by country gazzete? And i was just wondering if anyone remebers that movie about the dairy farmer whos cows where dieing, and if anyone knows where i can get the movie Amber Waves of Grain.

Hey guys is one of the movies featuring Dennis Weaver? or was that one a made for TV special where he had some MF's and his brother-in-law had a team of R series Gleaners? It turned out Dennis was dying of Cancer. Probably late 80's or early 90's.CT

Forget "Amber Waves." It's rather depressing and is not only clearly pro draft-dodger, but also makes the custom harvester look like an idiot.

You are much better off with "American Harvest" [aka 'Race Against the Harvest'] or Jacob's Harvest if you want to see some combine stuff in a movie. Jacob's Harvest is more about farm life in general, while the former focuses chiefly on custom harvesting with realistic info on combines.

I still recommend "Wild Harvest," the original custom harvesting movie. It's B&W, made in 1947 and features the Massey-Harris 21A.

Found it, the movie was Bitter Harvest,it came out in 1981 was a pretty good show if I remember right. Ron Howard did play the farmer.

Thanks alot I have the movie "American Harvest"
that movie made me always want to go on harvest, so last summer I did. But i can seem to find the movies Jacobs Harvest or Bitter harvest anywhere on the net. Thanks in advance.

I dont remember the movie title but I think Ron Howard(opie) played the farmer so shouldnt take much work to find out Good Luck
