Dragged the K out of the barn, drained the gas, had a look at the sparkplugs,fresh gas, new battery, about three turns and roar. Get at the rye tomorrow,sweet clover in about a week. Saw a beauty of an IH 82 in a laneway for sale, paint still on the feeder drum, pickup, scourclean, yum. Guy wants $1000 for it with reel and clover screen. Tempted, but low on shekels, lots of grain around that hasn't moved from last year and all of this years harvest coming. There's gonna be a lot of corn sitting outside this fall.

Hi Tom. Where are you in Ontario? I am in Schomberg. I use a K as well. Great little combine. Hope the harvest goes well.

Kevin: Sorry I didn't reply sooner. We're south and west of Dundalk, bout 60 miles west of you, in southgate twp. Finished with the K today, and tucked it away. Now I gotta find a good flail mower, a swather and a pickup header for the K. Buckwheat next year and it ain't gonna happen straight. Think I may be able to get a DIY Int pulltype swather but mucho work involved. Which way from Schomberg are you?
