Has anybody heard that Gleaner and Massey are going to combine? About 70% of the combine is Gleaner and 30% Massey, the combine will be painted silver. I believe the models will be called the 865 and 875. I dont know about you guys but this upsets me, The brand that are fathers grew up and we grew up with is going to join with Massey!!!!! ! Please post your opinions.

Shoot, boys, they haven't been real Gleaners since they got away from Galvanized iron and the bonafide down in front cylinder.

Gleaner and Massey should just forget about it and let CaseIH and John Deere do the work!

Maybe their just taking the best of both & making it even better. I hope the Gleaner name stays with it?

I think Gleaner should stay Gleaner and Massey should stay Massey! I dont like it either when they start mixing colors it just doesnt seem right. AGCO owns both brands so there is nothing we can do but watch the rainbow fly!

QS, I can"t agree with you more! AGCO has controlled BOTH lines for years now, but why just start mixing/matching colors and models? I think each can stand very well on their own names without any further melding.

Kinda like that red color, but if they are the same machine, why would you paint it differently? Bet it is an awesome machine....
