My brother dropped of a Montgomery Wards Model 30 Posthole digger for me to "get running". Just a quick run through the carb to remove the varnish, and it"s running like a charm. However, I can"t seem to find any reference or info on what to put in the drive-case for oil/fluid. I dumped some 30W oil in it just to be sure I didn"t freeze anything while getting it running, but before I start digging some holes, thought I"d run it past the "experts" to see if anyone has had any experience.

This is a two-man "handheld" auger with a 12" and 20" blades so it"ll be fun for playing with... There"s no muffler and my ears are still ringing after getting it tweaked.

Ideas, suggestions?

Thanks,

J-
