McCormick corn binder advise

A friend of mines dad died and he has some old
equipment to get rid of.He has a two row Mcmormick corn binder and a horse drawn model.
He also has a Rosenthal 40 corn shredder (tresher) in very good condition.Anyone have an idea of the value of these? thanks.

A working PTO drive corn binder can bring some big $ depending on who you get it in front of. Some folks really want them for making the decorative corn shocks & stuff like that. In fact there was an ad in the "Farmers Advance" newspaper not too long ago from a guy looking for one

Don't know about the corn sheller, but the binders are worth $100.00 to start and up if they have been shedded and all the parts are there. Not terribly complicated to get one to work, especially if you have the manuals. A two row binder? Most were PTO powered, and are more rare. My advise would be to advertise them well and get several collectors interested. Ben
