This eve I was offered a 35 MH SP combine with #22 cornhead attached to it for $600.Theres an extra engine and some parts with it.There is no grain platform.

Its just a little too far away for me.Its located in NE Missouri and the owner says in 2 weeks it will go to a junk yard to be parted out but not totally scrapped.

I guess if its OK someone could email me for more info to try and save this combine from being parted out.I dont have enough money, time, nor shed room to buy them all.

They used a 20 or 22 cornhead. There are a few still around. If I can make connections I may be going 100 miles away to look at one this weekend.

It amazes me that the 35 could even lift a 2 row #22 head. They weigh 2400 lbs.

Oh if you were only closer!! I hope there's still some 35's hiding around NC somewhere!

What's the going price for good 35's? Not necessarily running, but complete and fixable.

Al, Going price in my area is around $400-600 for a fairly complete restorable 35 MH.I'm finding more and more of them in my area.Just talked to a guy Friday eve 100 miles away in Kansas that has 2 complete 35's with one totally restored that he shows. He also has a parts machine and a 2 row cornhead that I will go look at next year.

There has to be a few in NC.You will find one someday. We had lots of good MH dealers here in MO so quite a few were sold.

I hope so. I am thinking about seriously looking after the first of the year if things level out for me.....I wonder just how well a 35 handles a two row corn head?

The 22 corn head must be the precursor to the 222 head. Seems like I have seen some early MF 300 ad's with the 22 head.

Have you bought any parts for your 35 yet? I wonder what you can and cannot get from Agco these days....

Al
