Losing Power on my 110

I have a JD 110 garden tractor. It runs for about 20 minutes perfectly, then it loses power, runs rough, and will eventually quit. I have tried adjusting the idle, but with no results. The head gets quite hot, so and I checked that the air moves around it as it should and the shrouds are all in place. I am unsure of the year (60's?) and the serial number on the tag has both numbers C150042 and 30198D and I can't read any other writing. Any help with my power loss would be great. Thanks.

It is a 67 K181.

You might check the coil once it gets hot.

Plugged vent on the gas tank will do it every time. Time before stalling varies with the amount of fuel in the tank. If it's full it doesn't take too long, if the tank is almost empty it can run for quite a while before "starving".

Choke partially closed, ignition not timed correctly, lack of lubrication, air cleaner fouled, valves not sealing, ring seal poor or exhaust ports clogged with carbon. From the book.Good Luck.
