Have a Gilson badged by Montgomery Ward, model Gil 33l55C with a three foot rototiller, casting number12563 12553. Need final drive shaft and bearings for the final drive. I would appreciate any comments or help. Don't know if the rototiller was made by Gilson or not. Transmission was made by Peerless. The rototiller came with the tractor from Montgomery Ward.

I don't think you will find any parts unless Peerless had something to do with the final drive.
You can prbably have a new shaft made at a machine shop. If there's any numbers on the old bearings they may available from your local auto parts store. I had one of those 3-foot tillers that came with my Wards tractor. It was too heavy
to handle and I wanted something that I could till between the rows. I called Wards and I traded the tiller for a rear discharge mower. I may have received some cash in the deal too. I like the Troy Bilt for tilling. Hal
