I had a Snapper LT12 given to me. The Hi Lo range selector knob won't stay in either, it kicks it to the middle. Also the lubricant came out of the gearcase, left side of tractor in the rear as you look at it. Hard to fix?

You have to hold pressure on the hi/lo shifter when letting off the clutch.

The gear case on that lawn mower is easy to fix as long as it is not cracked.
